Running Mac Book Air M1 stops after Unity screen not playable in its current build.

I just noticed that the linux version of the demo will go black while the game is still running in the background. Not sure what happens there, and it's not like the game is not responding, as it's still able to normally quit via alt+f4.

Can't build towers, exit button does nothing, no clue what is going on, seems really bad.
