I am not getting achievements in entropy zero 2.

I don't have the original files of the game, but it works and is perceived by steam as original. Maybe I can fix something in the game files so that I can get achievements?

Well, I don't have half-life 2 to download directly from steam and I had to go and download the game files from the Internet

In order to unlock achievements, you need to play Entropy : Zero 2 on Steam. Also, we can't really offer any suggestions or advice about problems with EZ2 if you downloaded some variation of it from another party, we only published EZ2 here on Steam.

Half-Life 2 (alongside all of Valves games) regularly goes on sales, often -90% off, just wait for the next sale which no doubt is coming in a few months and get it cheap and you won't have any more of these issues with custom (won't say pirated since this is technically free) unsupported versions.

Or you can buy Half-Life 2 on Steam when it goes on sale then download the official supported version of Entropy : Zero 2 which the devs actively support as they are in charge of patching and all, and not some other version you found elsewhere on the internet from other people.

If you're determined to get achievements with some other version, maybe go ask the other people from whom you downloaded that version about achievements that the EZ2 devs don't support.

Or do what other cheaters do and google "Steam Achievement Manager" if you just want achievements by any means necessary. (Not judging BTW, you want to cheat then it's your freedom, it's a single player game)
