Aidan Walker parallels to Adrian Shepard

Not sure if anyone pointed it out, but when I realized it it was so interesting.
Adrian Shepard is a fan favorite for many a Half-life fan. Can't help but feel like, when deciding to flesh out the character of Bad Cop from EZ1, Breadman or someone decided to take inspiration from Adrian Shepard

A nod for us basically playing as the Opposing Force (Combine) their names even sounds alike "Aidan Walker / Adrian Shepard"

Aidan's beginnings being a prisoner of unjust means - Adrian being left imprisoned by the G-man after the events of his game

It feels like in a way, that this mod is kind of in the spirit of not only advancing the story of Half-life, but also sort of "reviving" Adrian Shepard from stasis, if that makes any sense.

To be honest, I really only started noticing the parallels when I read on the wiki that Aidan is from Arizona, which is the same place Adrian Shepard trained in the HECU.

Not even when we (SPOILER) fight Gonomes and Pit Drones, that only appeared in Opposing Force out of all the Half-life entries. I guess now it feels like the hint has been right on our face the entire time. Even the Xen Grenades act like the Displacer from OF. It's probably the very tech Aperture stole from Black Mesa to make the Xen grenades.

What I'm saying is I think the similarities between Aidan Walker and Adrian Shepard are more than a little coincidental. And whether this was an intentional parallel or not, I'd like to thank the team from the bottom of my heart for this. I think I understand a little better why I loved this game so much - as an Opposing Force fan, I'm not just waiting for Half-Life 3, I'm also waiting for Opposing Force 2, and it feels like I got both in spirit with Entropy Zero 2.

TLDR: This is my wishful roundabout Opposing Force 2 game finally released.

altough how old is Adrian again? cause i dont know but maybe he didnt have a family, but if Valve confirms (if they're gonna make HL3 some damn day) that He had, then it would make sense, altough This would mean that Gman putted him out of stasis and teleported him back on earth before the Combine came, so he immediantely Changed name (so did his wife and child) and then the rest happens, im not very good at english sometimes,i hope you can understand

It's alright. Adrian Shepard was 22 years old when he started the game.

But no, my original point I was saying was, they're not the same person. Aidan Walker is not Adrian Shepard, but what I mean is Entropy Zero is like a secret Opposing Force sequel or something like that because some parts are similar. Like if we wanted to, Entropy Zero's story can still work if we made Adrian Shepard the main character of Entropy Zero instead.

OH, now i understand, true, they're really similiar for each other, and a Sequel exists to OF2, altough its made by fans (if i remember it should exist), and basically its Adrian going around C17 and so much on
