Loved all the Half-Life games but...

Don't you guys have a problem with playing for the bad guys in this?

I can see that different people treat the relationship between themselves and the morality of video game characters differently. Some people are uncomfortable playing with a character whose morality doesn't align with their own, while others are content to completely separate what happens onscreen from their own sense of right and wrong.

I would not blame anyone for not wanting to play EZ2 because the protagonist is a villain. I think that's understandable. It's regrettable, because I like it when people play and enjoy the mod, but it's a valid preference.

Personally I hope you will give the story a chance and still be able to enjoy it even though it shows the perspective of a bad guy.

This is like what Opposing Force did, but you’re actually the bad guy, not just an equivalent to Gordon Freeman.

Can't even understand anything that is said..the voices are WAY more distorted than HL2's combine, made the game unplayable for me, couldn't even progress at the VERY start because it's basically just static when they speak

Well, i love such fan made expansions where you also play as the bad guys. Can't wait for Half-Life: Dark Matter.

I love being able to see the world from the eyes of a Combine soldier. I don't have a problem with this because it's just a video game

turn subs on, you'll get used to it and ull actually start understanding it much better.

They're a lot more coherent than Half-Life 2's combine though
