The Humor & Writing Is Awful

Reminds me of Ghostbusters 2016. Most of the dialogue for this game feels unscripted, like someone turned on a mic and said to the voice actors "say something funny and we will work it into the game somehow"

This game is the saddest attempts of comedy I have ever seen. Last time I witnessed something this pathetic comedy wise was Pauly Shore's ''performance'' in Bio-Dome. I honestly want to know who finds this crap funny??!!?

The only good thing going for this game is they brought in Redlettermedia to rift on movie. Those guys can only turn so much chicken ♥♥♥♥ into chicken salad, sorry fellas you couldn't save this turd.

Humor is subjective. I believe it has amazing writing even if it's designed for my targeted group of humor (i.e. Rick and Morty). Just because it didn't reach you as a person doesn't mean you can crap on it.

Correct, this is Justin Roiland's style of comedy. He likes ad-libbing and improv a lot.

Eh, the two aren't comparable. Bio-Dome was an actual attempt write scripted comedy.

Honestly people like you really need to just learn that comedy is subjective, and just because you don't like it doesn't necessarily mean it's bad. Roiland is successful for a reason. His humor lands with a lot of people so clearly he's doing something right. You're allowed to not like it but boy am I sick of these threads where people feel the need to rag on something especially when it's on the forum for the thing they're hating on. It doesn't make you cool, or smart, it's just sad.

Some people's taste is better than others'. If you like the "humor" in this game, your opinion is wrong.

Reminds me of that lame game DeathLoop where the main character says the F word 9 times in a row, I saw a screenshot of someone saying how funny DL is. I thought must be a Rick and Morty fan to have that low of a I.Q.
