After first getting him, the only time I hear him speak is after a Boss Fight when I cut up a G3 captain for DNA to collect the bounty. He stays silent during regular battle against grunts. It's too bad, I was expecting more talking.

I noticed that as well. It's strange that they give him such a strong personality when you first encounter/collect him, and yet afterwards he says absolutely nothing (with the exception of "harvesting" bounties). Seems like a big missed opportunity, because when he does talk it's hilarious!
