Knifey blocks the main game

I recently bought the game in the bundle, although I hadn't finished the main game yet, I wanted to check out High On Knife and now I can't get back into the normal game as if I only had the Knife version, why? Not only would I like to finish the main game, but it can't be that the DLC is blocking the actual game. Does anyone here have any advice?

I'm sorry gamer but I have bad news and the developers don't seem to care about this problem, the DLC is not separate from the base game, as soon as you start the thing there is only that! You have one option left, start from scratch with a new save, I had to do the same.

do not press dlc knife ..

press load game ..

your original story line is there ..

i just did it ..

it works i'm back in original story line ..

That was the first thing I tried, and than again and again, it didn't work for me, it's great if it was different for you. I couldn't go back, no matter what I did, I always ended up back in the DLC and stuck in it.
