Except he was not trialled for those text messages, thus not cleared for that.
He was trialled for domestic abuse and thus cleared of all charges for that specifically.
We don't know what exactly the deal was with the text messages, but those do exist, you can't just wave that away. Wether that is enough to want to distance yourself from the man or not is up to each person (or company) to decide for themselves.
How hard is it to grasp the concept that practically every woman who's ever worked in one of his writer's rooms has said he's constantly calling up women on his staff and making extremely sexual advances in the dead of night? How hard is it to grasp that the few people who haven't made those accusations have said he's just not professional in general? How hard is it to understand that maybe you shouldn't either creep out or piss off every single person you work with if you want to keep your job?
Also, he wasn't found not guilty. The reason a DA drops charges when they can't find evidence is because it allows them to revisit the charges later if they do find evidence without risking double jeopardy, which is something they can't do if they go to trial without a sure win behind them. He hasn't been cleared of anything, and with constant accusations against him continuing to pile up, this likely isn't over. How hard is it to grasp THAT concept, fanboy?
LOL, let me get this right ... you are offended he wanted to have sex with women?
Like yeah, that's why children are born. Men have sex with women and children are the byproduct of biological reproduction. It's a win-win for everyone.
I love how you phrased these too ..
"calling up every woman on his staff"
"a sure win behind them"
"how hard" & "how hard is it to grasp that"
Come on man, is this satire?
I like how all you guys cancel rich or popular people too. Personally, I don't really care.
If you knew how many parolees worked in the food industry, you would all be healthy. LOL!
Yeah, that is young. I live in a state when the legal age of consent is 16, and as a father of young girls, I would be upset too.
When I was a teen, I remember some parents not caring either, for example my mother in law got pregnant with my wife at 14 when her dad was 19. It really depends on what really was going on, and did any of those girls lie about their age.
Now if we can find out why these guys got a pass for actually having sex with underage girls, the world would make more sense to me:
Roman Polanski
Evil Presley
Jerry Lee Lewis
Woody Allen
