The game looks like, and plays like a 14 year old made an FPS after watching a bunch of Unreal Development Kit tutorials.
Thats because of game pass, i bought it on steam have had 0 problems
If I was just doing the main objective, sure, I'd but done, but I'd miss stuff as a good bit of worlds have area's you can only get to with things you get from progressing the main objective, so you have to go back later to get there.
In Port Torrine, if I'm spelling that correctly, there's a 3rd cousin of the the Alien ♥♥♥ salesman and the Goop salesman. If you talk to him, he talks about how sad he is that he can't get any word doing legitimate business in real estate. If you visit Dreg City later, you can find him again saying that business has been booming ever since he started selling his own poop in jars.
At one point going back to Blim City there was a guy who wanted me to watch his bike. I looked away for a literal second and the bike was gone. He comes back and starts chasitizing you.
If you buy the Toilet Warp Drive, and complete the puzzle where you help the guy ♥♥♥♥ in his friend's mouth, he starts talking about the butterfly effect and flat out says if you replay the game and things will be different if you don't help him ♥♥♥♥ in his friend's mouth and maybe you "won't hear the song" and that you'll have to replay the game to find out.
If you use Gus during the Dr. Jooply sections, at the end, he'll realize that Dr. Jooply is messing up his kids names. This unlocks you to kill Douglas early. His boss fight will remain the same, but you'll only be fighting the suit, while Gus complains about how we shouldn't have to do this because they already killed Douglas.
You're basically just paying for unedited justin royland bits and jokes, the game when you aren't following the jokes or story is very dull.
and thus going round to hunt every single box would be a boring task if attempted since the combat in-between is mediocre and no fresh jokes while doing so.
Overall the game is alot of fun as long as you don't derail from the story too much, since alot of the jokes and bits are just a short walk from the path the story sets you on anyway.
oh and saving humans is pointless btw, there's not an achievement for it and I kinda chuckled that they got me to do a pointless task for literally no reward.
I was a little disappointed that there was no replay value. There's basically no real choices, all of the dialogue options lead to the same conclusions.
The combat was really dull. The guns, although quite funny, were kind of boring. Like a 12 year old coming up with their own weapon ideas after playing 10 minutes of DOOM, and they basically ripped the Needler off from Halo.
As for collecting humans, I think it was a throwback to Trover where if you collect all the power babies all you get is a rumbling controller, so basically nothing.
You bought a game full of unedited kept in full length Justin Royland jokes, the gunplay is honestly weak(especially the shotgun, love gus hate how the gun was designed, yet another company getting shotguns wrong)
If you want to get 100% and be that 0.1% go you, but you aren't seeing any new jokes that is btw the point of the game while doing so.
