How do you add mods to this game?

Been looking on youtube on how to add mods to this game and the others in the collection. Need help or pointed in the right direction.

For Sigma 2, adding mods depends on the type of mod.

1. The Black mod requires Cheat Engine to work. You need to download 2 things: https://www.nexusmods.com/ninjagaidenmastercollection/mods/37 and the databin found here (to solve some glitches related to delimbs): https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Vma3lmP9FMZx6vGz_IMg6BNskx3VRK-x
Paste the databin on your game's main folder. Then, simply install the latest Cheat Engine (decline all the garbage offers it comes with, be very careful with this) and then open the script the moment the game is on the "press start" screen. Then tick the boxes corresponding to the changes you want. Read the read me for detailed instructions and the mod page.

2. For texture mods, you need to download this file: https://www.nexusmods.com/ninjagaidenmastercollection/mods/91
Once you do, paste it's contents on the main folder and overwrite. You'll see a new "mods" folder. Paste texture mods that you download there. With this, you don't need a mods loader like Tianmuxia's (which you can also find on Nexus), just drag and drop files with the .dat extension there. I recommend downloading this blood mod and pasting it there as well: https://www.nexusmods.com/ninjagaidenmastercollection/mods/90

3. The last thing you might want is the red HUD + red statues mod, which requires Special K: https://www.nexusmods.com/ninjagaidenmastercollection/mods/56

As for Sigma 1, all you need is the Black mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/ninjagaidenmastercollection/mods/7
There are some other basic mods for it, but nothing too special. You can also find some tutorials on Guilty Gaming's YT channel regarding creating your own new game plus for Sigma 1 and 2, as well as all sorts of costume mods and other garbage.

Don't need bloom removal and blood mod. It's already in the black mod databin.

Regarding the Windmill Shuriken mentioned above, don't even attempt to use that with the S2 Black mod, because after chapter 1, it turns into a second incendiary shuriken. You have to wait for a new version of the Black mod that makes them compatible.

Thanks for all of the above, recently downloaded master collection and really want to try these.

May even give NG 3 RE a try and see if the improvements make a big impact.

Just wanted to feedback and say I've been able to make this work. Thanks so much guys, this is SUBSTANTIALLY better than Sigma 2, and I'm only on ch 1.
