Uhm, you do know that you can't really compare Ninja Gaiden to any DMC or Dark Souls, right? Both are much slower in pace with less enemies attacking at once. Most DMC or similar games have static camera.
Let's be honest. Some games are a pain in the ass to play with keyboard and mouse while other games are a pain in the ass with controller, often games from the same franchise or series. American McGee's Alice sucks with controller while Madness Returns is terrible with KB+M. Same for BloodRayne, first game is best played with KB+M while the second is best played with controller.

It must be a bad joke. As a PC player I've waited to play this game on the PC, for it to release without support for the essential PC hardware. I don't care if it's a janky experience, just let me use my $250 mechanical keyboard to press buttons not some archaic controller.

Aside from it being personal preference. I would be more than happy to not even use the mouse, 100% keyboard controls for camera and everything, than not able to play because I think controllers are archaic and clunky to use. I already have played games with 100% keyboard as well so i'm used to it, with Emulators, played PS2 3 person action games using my Keyboard as the whole controller.
The whole point of gaming on a PC is giving control to the player, giving the player the ability to play the game how they want. I bet someone can play Ninja Gaiden with a steering wheel because that's considered a controller. But a keyboard, i guess not. Leave it to some modder to make keyboard and mouse possible on Ninja Gaiden for the people that prefer that. Even if it's "harder" or "worse" whatever that means in gaming, it's the preference to the player. It's like releasing a game without mouse sensitivity controls, or without keybindings, or without graphic settings. Imagine if Nintendo Wii games didn't let you use Gamecube controllers like on Smash. Imagine having to play a game windowed only. These issues exist for many other games, and they fail because they are alienating their fans.
If Ninja Gaiden had Keyboard only support, I would purchase it because I love the game itself and will figure out how to succeed/get the value i spent out of the game anyway. Without that, I can only sit on the sidelines and wait for a modder to make me able to play the game how i want. As a business, is that the business model they want to have? Let modders fix your product? It's sad and embarrassing.

Then you are saved from throwing your money away. This game can't be played at all without a controller.

Game has hard lock on like Dark Souls. Or soft lock on like Devil May Cry 3. You are entirely reliant on precision aiming provided by controller.

Dark Souls and DMC3 are perfectly playable on PC with keyboard and mouse.

There are literally hundreds of games that have absolutely precise 3D controls (way more precise than a controller) with K+M.

Ports without K+M implementations on PC are just lazy ports. That's a fact.

No mobile connectivity.... NO BUY!

How come you can't play Resident Evil Remake/0 with kb+m?! Those games were made for it! (insert ♥♥♥♥ on a stick logic here about why it would make sense).

You can play Resident Evil 0 with keyboard and mouse actually, so thanks for making a very good point on why Ninja Gaiden should too

So, now that NG2 Black is available with M&K, can we admit that there's no reason why the trilogy doesn't support it?

Is there any mod out there that makes this game work with keyboard and mouse? I'm interested on the game, but without Keyboard and Mouse support, i'm not buying it
