The most obvious thing was even before going into the game. In the main menu once I open the game, previously the input lag had been very noticeable, where pressing A to activate an option immediately after using the D-pad to select it would simply not register; I had to wait about a quarter/half second after selecting before pressing A in order for the game to read the input. Now it responds instantly, and pressing A the moment I select an option in the menu makes the game activate that option.
So thank you. Even if this is all just placebo, at least following the instructions on your post made my experience better.
When I get the window back in focus. The poor framepacing and high latency both stay. I have to then reapply the framerate limiter to get back the good framepacing and low input lag.
Edit: looks like the game just sometimes drops to poor framepacing and higher lag even on it's own. without any window shenanigans. But I can always reset it by reapplying the framerate limiter.

Have to use a "mod" called Special which has all kinds of useful features and tweaking options and monitoring options for games
For example I can set this game to borderless window mode on launch without having to click the maximize icon through some tweaking and then use couple options to make borderless window run like Fullscreen with less latency.

It was pretty annoying to get working with this game through and some of the best features like "SDR to HDR" don't work in this game right now.
Where did you add the delay? It stopped crashing for me when I set GlobalInjectDelay=0.0 to 1.0. In the game profile config .ini file.
thats what i changed however it looks like my special k isnt creating the injector as theres no d3d11.dll file in the folder and it even says n/a on the skim :(
My Special K only works when I pour milk on it...
I'll get my coat...
At first i thought it was my controller; was using a switch pro and i know the bumbers and triggers are digital, but after switching to 360 it was still happening. Will come back and edit with results.
EDIT: it deffinately helped, but it's still slighty off. Hooked up my ps3 just to check. That being said, it was still a noticable improvement. Thanks OP.
The global one doesn't create that file. It should work without putting any files into the game folder. If you need help getting SK running you could join the discord server in that link and ask for help.
Lol you aren't the first one who has made this joke. At least it wasn't a Ketamine reference this time.
