Welcome to mimesis first playtest

It is time for us to introduce you to the basics of our game, this is a big step as we think that for the first time it is playable without too many bugs.
Keep in mind it's it's early alpha test and bugs can be hundreds, please provide informations about so we can work on it :)

- Create a lobby and try features alone, you can't load a map if you're not 2 minimum player as it is a multiplayer game, but you can still experience basic gameplay alone in the lobby.
- Load a map by simply going inside any level portal door (if you're the host)
- Tweak game settings by pressing L
- Change teams by pressing M
- Taunt menu is in french for now this feature will be developped in english later

If you find any problem during your game, just return to lobby as it will flush everything but keep score.

Exciting news, everyone! We are thrilled to announce that we will soon be releasing the first playtest of our game on Steam. This will give you the opportunity to test out our game for a limited time on a single map with basic hide and seek gameplay.

If this playtest succeeds, we have plans to launch the game in beta early access. This means you will be able to purchase and play the game permanently, with three additional maps included.

Meet your new friend: THE HUNTER

Design has been reworked. The Hunter is equipped with four adjustable cannons and a deadly scanning ability. As a drone, it can fly anywhere, reaching higher altitudes to spot players better. Its scanning ability can reveal hidden players within a short range (which can be disabled at any time). We're confident that you'll find hunting with The Hunter very enjoyable in Mimesis.

We have also included a full menu and lobby with standard video game settings. You can tweak your settings at any time to customize your experience.

One of the maps available for testing is the SPACE HOUSE map. It features a spaceship orbiting Earth, with a mix of space corridors and cozy interiors. Check out the images below to get a glimpse of this exciting location.

At the moment, our team is focusing on completing everything necessary to create a stable demo or alpha version of the game. In its previous state, the game experienced a number of system and sync bugs, as well as 3D problems. Because of these issues, we cannot release an early access version at this time, as it would be an unsatisfactory experience for players.

We are currently working on a vastly improved, stable system that will offer huge performance gains without any loss of quality.

Our next update will introduce the option to purchase the game in early access, which will allow players to experience a classical prop hunt gameplay across six maps. Alternatively, players can try the demo version, which offers a single map to test the gameplay and get a feel for the game. This update is expected to be released in April.

After the first early access release, we plan to add more maps, gameplay options, and new game modes to further enhance the player experience and fun.
