I tried the demo out, and to be honest, it felt pretty poorly done. First thing that I noticed when changing my settings is that enabling full-screen actually stretched the game out, so I just kept it windowed. It also didn't appear to be working with my controller so I was forced to use keyboard. Beyond that.... if I am being perfectly honest, it feels like a game that someone would have made in GameMaker back in the early to mid-90s, or a flash game on Newgounds for the early 00s. I like the art style and its really polished for what I assume is your first game! (can't wait for the full game!)
