Random FPS issues, anyone else?

On the day it released, it wasn't running great on some scenes, but it was playable, when the update came, I could run it on ultra settings at 60 FPS, 2 days ago, I got on and the FPS was absolutely HORRIBLE, like, I'm talking 12 or less FPS, it happened out of nowhere, and I didn't do anything to the game, can somebody help?

Just turn shadows option from Ultra to High and should be fine. It worked for me.

just got the game - on ultra it gives VERY weird FPS - from 100 drops to 60 and 40, when characters appear...this is just crazy :\
