*SPOILERS* The most useless tarot card
Don't bother looking into the future with "The Sun" tarot card at the end of chapter 9. Its description implies that it'll help you live to see the dawn. It's literally just Ryan seeing the sun coming up, absolutely 'no' useful information what-so-ever. Waste of time that card

I could argue all the cards are useless, honestly. They never helped me, but it may be I'm just bad at these premonitions. I never seem to use them to my advantage.

Yeah, they’re about as useless as the totems in Until Dawn.

The only time this “mechanic” seemed to actually be helpful was in Man of Medan and Little Hope.

every time the old lady asks me if I want to see more future I told her to stuff it. xD

Yeah i'll cop to that, only a couple of them I found helpful (almost finished my first playthrough, so maybe i'll find more helpful ones in my second). The one I found helped the most was "The Tower" (at least I think it was the tower), showing me how to escape from the cop. I'd have screwed that up on my own, no doubt x'D

I think thats the point? Like Eliza is the Hag and she wants her boy silas to live. Her "premonitions" are one sided. It's to manipulate you not help you. She shows you what will help her.

Salient point! I hadn't considered it that way! But considering what we learn about Eliza at the end, that makes soooo much sense!

You’d think so, it certainly makes sense from a narrative point of view but I recall Eliza actually reacting negatively after the chapter wherein I ended up killing Mama, Papa, and Travis Hackett as well as Ryan and Laura…though she did kinda follow up with a “oh well, they deserved it”.
