Is there really no fix for the glitchy hair?
Every woman's hair keeps spazzing out. It's awful.
I've searched the forum and found similar complaints but no solutions.
Some people claim they don't see it, but it's definitely happening. It started happening very often after the first couple of chapters.
I've tried vsync, locking and unlocking the framerate, lowering graphics...nothing helps.
Was this really never solved?

I looked up some videos of the game being played on a PS5 and wouldn't you know it, the hair is completely fine!
So they patched it for consoles but never bothered for PC?

Is not an issue on PC either, so they didn't patch anything.

Yeah it is. There are several other threads about this.
The hair physics are glitching out on characters with long hair.

And I shown gameplay video on PC where it does not happen at all, so this is an issue on your side.

If I had to guess you running the game at over 60 FPS.

The video I showed was from another user on PC, and the problem is identical to mine, so it's not just on my end.
And I've already addressed framerate in my first post.

You did not address framerate in your first post, all you said was generic, as I stated the game cannot run above 60FPS.

You can either keep blaming the game, or you can make an effort to fix your issue, either way the game is working perfectly fine for the majorly of us.

As I said in my first post, I tried locking and unlocking the framerate. 30 FPS, 60 FPS, 60+ -- doesn't matter, the hair is still glitching.
There are many other threads documenting this issue, so it's not working perfectly fine.

If it makes you feel any better (probably not) it happens on Xbox Series X too

I guess PS5 is the only platform they give a crap about

You should get a replacement unit, if it's happening on your Xbox Series X, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wNKHnQCeFQ
