No audio after the 2K launcher removal

Has anybody experienced this issue recently too?

After applying the update that removed the 2K launcher there is no audio in the game or menu.

Attempted to verify game files, clear cache and reinstall the game but no joy. All other Steam games I own, audio is working as expected.

I did contact 2K who offered the usual troubleshooting guides and advising to update all drivers, but still unresolved.

Just wondering if anyone else is having the same problem, or if I will have to wait for a future patch?

I did and they gave up trying to solve. The game is abandoned and there aren't any patchs to fix these new problems.

Embarrassing as it is to admit, I went to 2K support, they gave me various TS steps, most of which Id already tried and randomly they gave me some network TS steps.. but at the end of the day, it was indeed the volume mixer. I'd accidentally muted the game without realising and it took me a few weeks to work that out myself *the shame*

I couldn't fix mine yet, I followed all their steps also recorded my screen showing my volume mixer and still no audio lol

In other games my audio is normal.

I just found a solution. I removed all equalization (also disabling all effects) in my default sound device and the sound suddely appeared. haha

It means this game doesnt support sound equalizations.
