Chapter 10 shotgun shot mechanics

In Chapter 10 Kaitlyn gets to shoot Caleb with silver .

The problem is there seems to be a bug where you can't hit him.
It seems others ran into this issue, but maybe there is specific timing or aiming that needs to be used?

Turning on auto aim works, but then I ended up automatically shooting silas

Also, movie mode should have fast forward, like a movie.

Try aiming for Caleb's torso - I got a clear headshot once and the game acted like I missed.

Omg I thought it only happened to me, it just didn't register or something and because of that she's the only counselor that died in my playthrough :(((((((((

Same. It was just her, and she was the one I least wanted to die. Then I had to finish the run before I could redo the chapter.

I didn't even had the time to aim, was it a Bug or you also had just 1 sec to aim and shoot ?

Bug. It was a short time window but no matter where i shot it didn't work.

Yeah I also did chapter 10 again after finishing, I pressed LT but she didn't shot either !

So I put in the options no fails for combat event, and it worked. Weird.

Honestly just get Kaitlyn bitten then kill Silas it’s less of a headache and both of them can live and be cured.

At this moment she was instantly killed by Caleb, Dylan was hidden in the kitchen, Emma & the chubby girl hidding in the office of Chris, no one to helps her ;(

Yeah, my Kaitlyn wasn't infected at this moment which means instant kills ;( I've watched a walkthrough where everyone get infected it's kinda cool

I just finished this game and lost Kaitlyn. I SWEAR I had Caleb center mass. Is this bug still present? Anyone know if there's a fix?
