50's Outfits DLC Not Showing Up

I recently downloaded the DLC for free, and it appears in my game but when I try to use it it's just the default outfits. I don't know if I did something wrong, or if it's just some sort of glitch?? I saw a couple other people having this issue but i'm not sure how to fix it.

It's not just added to the library, it's added to the game as well since we now have the option in the settings. It's a bug.

I am aware it's in the list in Display setting, but what needs to confirm is; what is the size of update after adding this 50s Throwback DLC? Anyone has their game updated in large size upon adding the 50s DLC?

Because when I added the DLCs, the game did not perform any big update, like gigabyte large of updates. The last time this game had large, major updated was in last August.

That means, the game does not have 50s DLC costume data, only the name of 50's Throwback was added in the list of costume in the game, along with 80s Throwback.

The DLC is only an option in the settings that doesn't do anything. The models are not in the game.

And now, we should have the costumes appear in the game because 2K just ruling out the big updates, which never happened before and have to wait until it happens.

The outfits not being in the game until now was a bug. The community manager wouldn't have asked people to send help tickets to 2K about the outfits not showing up otherwise. Apparently, the devs were "looking into it" suggesting there was an issue.

If you have to ask why, for technical reason, it's better to ask 2K/Supermassive for that. I can think of a few reasons, but I'm not a part of team, so my answer will just be a total speculation.

But one thing for sure, as I mentioned previously, the costumes didn't appear because we all don't have costumes data (3D model, textures) downloaded and updated to the game. We only updated the list for costumes after owning the DLC and it just make it appear in costume selection; that's all. If you want to call it a bug, it's your choice, but I don't.

Yes, we are all aware, I've already said three times that the models weren't yet inside the game.

They litterally called it a bug themselves. They meant for us to have the models, but we didn't. It's a bug.

Hey everyone,

Regarding the missing outfits, I'm pleased to say that this issue should now be resolved here on Steam! There's a small download / patch that you'll need to apply to the game, but once that is done, you should find that the characters are wearing the 50s outfits once you've selected the pack in the display settings.

I've checked this myself on my own account, and it is all working fine for me now, so fingers crossed this will be the same for all of you as well. If you do encounter any issues though, please let me know, and submit a support ticket via 2K's website as well.

Thanks, Georgina! I can confirm this is fixed on my end. Although I wasn't showing a new update, I Verified File Integrity to force the download and was missing 185 files.

for me, it pretty much reinstalled the entire game. its installing all 46gb right now so its gonna take like a half hour to finish. idk about the who "outfits not showing up" thing yet tho

I had this as well, it shouldn't be anything for you to worry about - the files are being optimised on your drive during this process. The outfits should be available in-game after that!

I wonder why a developer would add more skins to the game and not fix the horrible motion blur that this game has.
