It's not just added to the library, it's added to the game as well since we now have the option in the settings. It's a bug.
I am aware it's in the list in Display setting, but what needs to confirm is; what is the size of update after adding this 50s Throwback DLC? Anyone has their game updated in large size upon adding the 50s DLC?
Because when I added the DLCs, the game did not perform any big update, like gigabyte large of updates. The last time this game had large, major updated was in last August.
That means, the game does not have 50s DLC costume data, only the name of 50's Throwback was added in the list of costume in the game, along with 80s Throwback.
And now, we should have the costumes appear in the game because 2K just ruling out the big updates, which never happened before and have to wait until it happens.
Why would they have made an update with the option in the settings but not have the models actually appear?
It was a bug. The community manager litterally asked us to fill report tickets. Also people on PS5 litterally had error messages. Stop pretending it was intentional.
If you have to ask why, for technical reason, it's better to ask 2K/Supermassive for that. I can think of a few reasons, but I'm not a part of team, so my answer will just be a total speculation.
But one thing for sure, as I mentioned previously, the costumes didn't appear because we all don't have costumes data (3D model, textures) downloaded and updated to the game. We only updated the list for costumes after owning the DLC and it just make it appear in costume selection; that's all. If you want to call it a bug, it's your choice, but I don't.
Yes, we are all aware, I've already said three times that the models weren't yet inside the game.
What I don't understand is why you keep explaigning this to me when I already knew that ( because like, it's obvious )Literally I said it and then you repeat the same thing.
I said they " forgot " because I was mocking their competence, in case you didn't get that.
They litterally called it a bug themselves. They meant for us to have the models, but we didn't. It's a bug.
Anyway it's useless to talk to you, you litterally bypass anything I say because you think I need explaining when I don't. I wasted enough time with you, I just blocked you.
Regarding the missing outfits, I'm pleased to say that this issue should now be resolved here on Steam! There's a small download / patch that you'll need to apply to the game, but once that is done, you should find that the characters are wearing the 50s outfits once you've selected the pack in the display settings.
I've checked this myself on my own account, and it is all working fine for me now, so fingers crossed this will be the same for all of you as well. If you do encounter any issues though, please let me know, and submit a support ticket via 2K's website as well.

Glad that the outfits are now working for you! That's a lot of missing files as well, glad that file verification sorted that out!

I had this as well, it shouldn't be anything for you to worry about - the files are being optimised on your drive during this process. The outfits should be available in-game after that!
