Xbox / PS controls?

In The Dark Pictures series we've had the option to swap between these controls. I'm using an Xbox controller because it's very comfortable but I grew up playing on the PS so I mess up buttons all the time.

Can you please enable this option in the controller settings? I really don't want an outcome be decided by my poor reaction time because I'm button checking.

Wow is there seriously no PS option in this one??
That was one thing that was amazing about the dark pictures games; and something I find really weird that not many other devs include..

This is going to suck when I get around to playing it also I guess =(

Enable Playstation configuration support in big picture mode settings. Playstation controllers will now be emulated as an Xbox controller when Steam is open, though it will still show Xbox prompts on screen.

Such a shame that they don't support Playstation button prompts when this would be incredibly easy for them to add in. Playing with with 7 of my mates today, a few of them who don't normally play video games - I have a wireless DS4 controller but this has led to us needing to use a wired Xbox SX pad instead. Such a tiny accessibility option that makes a big difference!

And how does this solve problem with lack of PS buttons prompt? Controller itself is already supported without any issues.

Nobody has posted mods that I know of, luckily I'm quite used to my XBox pad now, so, it shouldn't spoil my enjoyment of the game.

Just another situation of microsoft EEE. You think the developers are suddenly too stupid to include Playstation button prompts after including them in their previous 3 games? No, microsoft just paid them to not.

Either that or it was 2K considering they published the game and are the reason why updates are so scarce
