Steam Deck?
I am wondering if this will be steam deck compatible? It doesnt really matter all too much, Im going to remote play from my PC, its just easier if it has controller support already, less finaggaling.

Been using the Steam Deck as a Steam link to my Living room TV, would love to run this flawless day 1.

Will this work on the Steam Deck?

It has the hardware to run it, but the issue will be on the software side which just makes it a matter of WHEN instead of IF. So it might not work on release, but with updates to proton among other software that people are using to improve games you'll eventually get to play it. Just don't expect highest settings considering how graphically heavy this game is.

This doesn't run that great on Steam Deck, probably because of Denuvo.

i can start it when I select experiantal mode

yes, but low frame rates at low settings. runs about 24fps average, dipping as low as 15 often

Yea I attempted all of the adjustments that most have done and it's accurate. It's extremely choppy and ugly at low settings and it's unplayable at this point. I'm not really concerned with the 2K launcher like everyone else is harping about but in a game that has split second decision making and facial expressions in order to determine truth/deception, I would say this is pretty much unplayable at the moment. I only paid $50 for the deluxe so I don't have too many complaints.

They should have done better to optimize this game. I know the Steam Deck doesn't have a huge market, but it is a point to consider when releasing your games.

I'm suspecting Valve will do what they can on their end of optimization within Linux/Proton, and hopefully Supermassive will listen to feedback for lower end machines running the game.

At 20FPS, yes

have you tried this Remote Play? I want to stream to my living room, but I find it difficult sometimes getting controllers to sync with non deck compatible games.

i'm playing on steam deck, 2.5 hours in. lowest settings on borderless, proton experimental works best for me- semi stable 30fps now. its playable, just not great.

I've had best results to pretty stable frame rates when launching from desktop mode with no compatibility force and in borderless window mode. Still stuttering linked to loading and camera cuts, but that could be an optimization issue.
