Game looks censored for an M rating

I saw a YouTube video with all deaths compilation. These are all offscreen and camera angles doesn't show so much about gore. This is very disappointing, this looks like a censored version.

- Face blown off by a shotgun was also shown in video, no blood splatter is seen.
- Enucleation is shown from a covered point of view. You only can see her covering her eye after she got hit.
- Hunting knife stuck in the ribs isn't interesting and probably most of it is shown offscreen like the whole game.
- Body with shreds of flesh torn off it's only a body. I don't take account about this.
- Drowning in a stream of blood, very bad death scene, it counts zero gore. It's like a falling.
- Bear trap that closes on legs with screams of intense pain. Same thing i said about the knife.
- Dismemberment with a chainsaw was disappointing, only an hand is severed, effects are poorly made and i think this could be one of the why they covered all the gore in game if not because of censorship.

There's literally a Gorefest Movie Mode option and you say there's no blood? That doesn't add up.

I saw some gameplays about Gorefest Mode and there isn't gore even with it turned ON.

So from what i understand, its only for Movie Mode.

I'm not sure how they can bill this as as homage to 70s and 80s slasher horror while at the same time being underhanded about blood and gore.

That's the cornerstone of slashers. Creative and over-the-top violence.

To put it behind a paywall is even more bizarre if that's true.

Even if you pay for the Deluxe Edition will still have very little gore.

I'm also not having any of the glitches etc on the PS version as opposed to what people are complaining abouut regarding the PC version..

the splatter looks on point, no cuts here most likely but the clearly removed the nudity. some characters should be naked according to the overall plot and they even say stuff like "hey
why I'm naked?" but they always wearing underwear.

Plenty of gore, when it comes to the nudity or lack of, I'd guess that the actors and actressess weren't comfortable with their likeness being used on a nude model.
