Twisted Tower

Twisted Tower

Feedback for you Demo
First of all,

Overall, I really enjoyed playing the demo. It was great to finally have a linear FPS shooter again.
That’s just my opinion, but maybe try to emphasize the "Pro" points more and address the "Contra" points where you think I have a valid critique.

PROS
-------------
- It was really cool to have such unique weapons, along with some Easter eggs (for example, what happens when the pistol is empty! :D).
- I liked the character movement—it felt smooth and natural to control.
- The level design was on point, which I think is really difficult to master. I especially liked how the game brought me back to previous locations (like the main hall) while still progressing forward.
- The main menu was really well-designed and looked great.
- I loved the idea of climbing the tower to see what’s at the top. Overall, the game had a great atmosphere and feel.

CONS
----------

- The lore is kind of boring. "What a surprise"—we have to rescue a loved one. Maybe there will be a twist later on, but if the story continues in this direction, it feels too predictable.
- Something about the combat felt off. I had trouble killing NPCs—not because I couldn’t aim, but because they were hard to see in certain areas. (Maybe the next point could help fix this?)
- I love the idea of a secondary weapon mode, but I was frustrated that there was no right-click zoom function.
- Those damn balloon assets were really annoying to see over and over again. Also, some of the lighting effects were a bit excessive, and a lot of assets felt too repetitive.
- When enemies are dead, they should have an outline to indicate that they can be looted. I only figured this out near the end of the demo.
- Some spider web assets didn’t quite match the otherwise great level design—especially in the main room where you can see "who you are." Instead of adding to the atmosphere, they were more distracting than anything.

Even though my "Cons" list is longer than the "Pros," I have still wishlisted the game.
It’s a bit early to say, but if the game continues at this level of quality, I would be willing to pay €20 for it—maybe €25 at most.

I would pay even more if some of these issues were fixed and if there were an extra "hook" (I don’t know how to describe it exactly) that made the game even more compelling to buy.

It would be nice if they would allow us to fully map the mouse instead of WASD.

Has anyone noticed that you can do almost everything with a controller except move your character?
