GOG Release
Will Sins 2 come to GOG at some point? Please?

I was soo excited to finally see Minor Factions appear over there, so I'm real hopeful for Sins 2.

It'll definitely be considered. We like GOG. But it won't happen right away.

Thank you so much for replying, Frogboy! Fingers crossed for sooner rather than later.

As most of you know, Stardock has been a long supporter of GOG. But as you guys also know, much smaller user base so we have to focus our very very limited dev / QA time on Steam for the near future. :D

Steam release will be the thing guys. Integrated multiplayer, maybe workshop pretty please ?

This has nothing to do with userbase. You got your fat check from epic, hope it was worth it (so far according to all the videos online im pressing my biggest X to doubt). Sins 2 should be nothing short of amazing or it will perish like sots2 and 'ah its that game that sold itself to epic'.

Interesting. Games developed by single people don't seem to have this issue, you'd think they'd have no time at all in that case

Also GOG means give it for free to all your friends. I understand why new games are sometimes not on GOG straightaway

Well, maybe then i will consider getting it.

Probably not, since i refuse to support AI art right in our faces, but we'll see if it ever shows up on GoG.

Not really. If you want to play multiplayer on GOG these days they tend to force you to use their version of Steam, Galaxy. Which verifies if you own it.
I'd hope that Stardock wouldn't force that anyway but who knows. A lot of Devs have taken that route.

Depends on the game. BG3 requires only a Larian account, Mechwarrior as well doesn't need galaxy.

I think people who will pirate it do so regardless and it's quicker to grab a torrent than copy it from your friend. Who doesn't have dozens of games they've bought but never played? There are tonnes of memes about building a library of games you'll never play. Heck, I bought the first Sins three times; boxed, steam and GoG.

Me. I work for a living. My disposal income, such as it is, is valuable. My time, even more so - when it's not appreciated in my workplace, I'm going to make DAMN sure I appreciate it at home. I'm not going to buy something I'm not going to play by the time the weekend rolls around.

Building a library of games you aren't going to play is childish. It is a sign of emotional immaturity and a lack of self-control. You showcase an inability to defer gratification, or to plan out your expenditures.
