Agent 64: Spies Never Die

Agent 64: Spies Never Die

Aim assist is far too strong on Agent 64 difficulty
Compared to the almost non-existent aim assist in Goldeneye and Perfect Dark on 007/Perfect Agent, which I recently played through the HD versions on XBOX.

It needs a better balance for that old school feel, but the only options for aim assist here are are ON and OFF. If not reducing the Agent64 aim assist by default, there should really be a 'Classic/Dynamic' aim assist option as well if you want to replicate the classics.

Adding it as an option might be worth it, but I think the default is fine as is. It's not like the classic games, but that would be more likely to push people away today. Just look at the responses to the aiming cursor, that actually is somewhat similar to the old games :)
I had to disable it because it was ridiculously strong.
Every encounter without aim mode would lock my aim to the enemy's chest, instead of letting me shoot them in the face. Even up close.

If you're aim is already pointed at the enemy, it really shouldn't be 'assisting' anymore. And when it assists, it really shouldn't be moving your aim 2-3cm to the enemy's chest when the enemy's head is only 1-5mm from your aim.
I just started the game and aim assist is WAY too generous. Thankfully, it can be switched off.

It's a much more rewarding experience switched off.
