Hitting par in Challenge Starter League 3 is too luck-based for which zones to defend
In the Challenge Starter League 3. you have to defend different areas for 20 seconds until you reach 20 points. In order to hit par or 3m 30s, you have to get good luck with where those areas are.

If you get small, well-defended, and easy to reach areas, such as the far room on the second floor or the vault on the first floor, you can reach par without too much trouble because you can guard a tunnel. But if you have to defend the central area on the first floor, forget about it. The area is huge and there's too many directions for the enemies to spawn and just step over the line to make the area contested (and your allies aren't very good at shooting the enemies).

There's also the bathroom. Not only is it huge, but the enemy can spawn inside of it and immediately contest it. I really think the area of control for the bathroom should be smaller, such as the corner away from spawn zones, which would allow you to have a chance to shoot anybody that spawns in. Similarly, I think the central first floor area should be smaller, probably just the area in front of the stairs.

My advice for someone trying to complete par with the game in its current state is this: if your first or second area winds up being these large, hard to defend areas, don't waste your time and restart immediately. Eventually you'll get lucky with the smaller areas and you'll beat par easily.
