Couch Co-Op Deserves a Comeback

The best thing about this game, without question, is the couch co-op.

It feels like such a forgotten feature these days, and genuinely, this is the most fun I've had playing a game with my four-year-old son in a very long time.

I hardly ever get to share FPS games with my kids because everything seems to be built around online multiplayer now. There's something completely different about sitting together on the sofa, playing on the same TV, laughing at what's happening and experiencing the game together.

Couch co-op used to be such a huge part of gaming, and playing this has reminded me just how much we've lost by moving away from it.

Please, developers, bring this kind of thing back. Couch co-op deserves a revival.

Can play all the Steam Halo games with couch coop after a very simple mod install. May want to look into it if you want to play more FPS games with your kids.

EDF 4, 5, and 6 has couch coop by default and is very fun and simple for kids as well.
