Private Online Lobbies Without Anti-Cheat? (Virtual Machine)

Hello, I was really interested in getting this game for me and my friends. Unfortunately I discovered there was Easy Anti Cheat attached to any online content. This is bad news for me because I can only play this through a virtual machine.

Is it possible to play online campaign or private pvp matches without anti-cheat installed? I never have any intention of playing with randoms, I only play multiplayer games with friends. I’ve never needed to get anti-cheat for anything I’m interested in until now.

If it’s too much of a hassle and was not implemented then that’s understandable, but I’d just like more definitive confirmation as I was really interested in this.
