Xbox gamepad shooting not working

I don't know what's up with this but it said it had gamepad support. Everything else seems to work just not shooting. Also why no crosshair or aiming crosshair if you hold down say LB?

Right joystick is also how you move sliders, not that it helps your issue I just want to bundle the xinput issues.

It seems steam input and some unity games don't jive together. I've tried diverse fixes but it seems to be out of my control.

Deactivate Steam Controller support and your xbox controller should work again.

How do I deactivate Steam Controller support, I have the same problem.

But isn't Steam controller support, superior? Is there a way to disable it for solely your game and not across the board?
