Save file help

I'm trying to clear my save data, but despite me deleting my files in the games folder it doesn't change a thing. Can someone help?

Hey there Gerald,

Your saves should be located in the"Steam/steamapps/common/Sucker for Love/efs_data" folder. Deleting those .dat files should erase your progress. If it doesn't, please let us know!

So i discovered something. Deleting your EFS data doesn't undo the timeline progress and instead makes it so if you load from a checkpoint it loads you to the very beginning of the chapter but only regarding rituals. The dialogue for that checkpoint happens, but you are forced back to the beginning ritual.

I found it. Where you *really* want to go is "C:\Users\(User Name)\AppData\Local\SuckerforLoveBackup\efs_data"

In fact, deleting "SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Sucker for Love\efs_data" will actually *break* the game due to not having a place to store your progress settings.

for the parenthesis (user name), which user name are you talking about? i can't find this file anywhere even using the windows key + r
