option for smoothed or upscaled textures please
plsssss :steamsad:
just wanna say these replies are quite strange. you guys play totally indie low-budget games like this, but will refund a game for such minor problems as the graphics not suiting you?

The best you can do is to play around with the options, but it's a stylistic choice, look up Playstation 1 graphics, it even has the texture and model wobble that some of the graphics had back then.

im asking for a way to smooth the textures, not make ti look more like a PS1 game. I dont like the PSX aesthetic, and id straight up rather it look like im actually emulating a ps1 game on modern hardware, smoothed textures, high resolutions, etc. etc.

Did you not read what you're responding to? The graphics look like this intentionally. If you don't like it, then the game isn't for you.

This game does not have this option, and the devs have stated it never will. You'll have to set up your own screen shaders for what you want.

Oh that's too bad. Any ideas how? The game really lacks visually when you turn off the "retro" stuff like warping

You would probably want to look into running this sort of thing:

I use this to make STALKER: GAMMA look a lot better, there's guides on the site for how to.

Not all games are for everyone, that's the reality.
Sometimes, I wish I would enjoy a game, because most of it sounds like my thing but one little aspect might be enough to turn me off.
Here, graphics are what they are as a choice, and I guess making "better" graphics would just mean making another, different game.
If you have not played for more than 2 hours, you can refund, that's what I would do!

The relevance was there originally. I reiterated it. Your confusion is on you.
