This isn't even a full "track". It's a short loop, like 10 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ seconds, constantly playing in the background.
Comment I posted in the "Bugs/Issues" thread:
Seriously. Go around counting how many varied sounds you hear from start to 40 mins at-least. You can even find free sounds easily to use online these days.
Most tone-deaf attempt at audio in an indie game. I'm still wondering what thousands of people reviewing this game in Early Access were smoking, or were they partially deaf?
Some guy actually asked for a soundtrack in one of the threads and I had to smack me head against the table to make sure I wasn't asleep.
Still, it'd be nice to not only have some more variety, but also an option to change how frequent the tune is and how long an interval there should be until it loops back again. This is something other games do, so it's definitely not impossible to implement.
OK, that's good.
So it seems a lot of these issues might just be bugs. I still find it weird how people didn't notice these issues during Early Access.
Then again, some geniuses replied here with "PLAY UR OWN MUSIC DERP" and "YOU DON'T OWN THE GAYM" in this thread so I think I know why bugs went unreported for a year.
Haha, usually I do this with those crappy indie titles. I'm doing it with this game now.
I have YouTube streams/videos playing on secondary monitor while I just play this game on primary. The sound is at 5-10%, music on mute. Dealing with enemies in this game is a chore and a breeze so it doesn't matter if you are half distracted by YouTube.
Such an immersive experience.
I didn't even notice this was a bug. I was just being soothed and slipping into Nostalgia. Now, I can't wait to hear more!
