Why isn’t the DLC available here like it is on switch?

Hi. I have the Switch version, and I wonder if this is a bug that applies to all. After obtaining all three chest items, I talked to the ghost and then talked to the shop owner. She told me that my inventory was full (it wasn't) and to come back for a gift. I left the shop and walked back in and she gave me a gold statue. Sorry if this is dumb, but is there a save option? I'm playing on the Nintendo switch and I don't see anything other than a restart option.

Hi folks, I'm playing on the Switch and it seems as though I cannot craft anything at the crafting table after I purchased the fenced-in yard for my house. Nor can I move the crafting table. Help?

Do they spawn randomly or do I have to leave apples on the tree for a while? I have seen big apples before but no golden and I need them for a couple of tasks.
