Been playing for 2+ hours straight. It's addictive but after 2 hours you'll get that p2w mood.
Other than that, I haven't seen any big OP people so far. I think it's Steam server only.

Been playing for 3/4+ hours. Didn't buy one single thing.
You don't need to pay for things but it will definitly help you.
But I'm enjoying ever since i'm playing and it's fine.
Luckily it's not throwing screens all the time for buy this pack and that pack.

You can be a light spender and can succeed, it takes a long time. If you join a good alliance with whales and constantly log in everyday and do your dailies you can do pretty well. There are whales that will dominate hard but they pay thousands of dollars so it's only fair in that sense. Total F2P will be extremely difficult and I would not suggest it. You need to unlock the 2nd builder, think that's $5 dollars. Merlin is a dollar just focus the water march and you should be good. Don't focus on your second march till around 90k troop power. People are saying the fire march is also F2P friendly. Light spending and F2P definitely need to plan out more though. Look up guides and you can find them on Youtube.
