just a couple of bugh reports for the devs; attention. Running on Windows 11 Education 64-bit, Ryzen 7 3700X, RTX 3060ti, 32gb DDR4 @ 3200mhz.
- This was on an earlier version, but disassembling the derailed carriage in Gimbert in a certain order can cause the side panel to float in midair.
City of London
- Cleaning up the area around the plane before moving it causes the plane to float in the air until it is moved with the crane.
- Driving the bulldozer into a wall while it is pushing some rubble from a destroyed building can cause it to launch into the air.
- When pushed by a bulldozer, the piles of rubble intended to fill the hole left by the bus move to the side and out of the way rather than being pushed forwards.
Suggestions
- The piles of rubble around the submerged bus in City of London would look better if they were destroyed when pushed by the bulldozer, and the subsequent chunks pushed into the hole.
- The game seems unusually CPU-intensive, would suggest optimising where possible.
- Would suggest tweaking the Hammer's animation to be a bit more "weighty" and more realistic - say, lifting it a bit, then swinging it at the target.
- How you're meant to use the cutting torch may not be immediately obvious for some players.
- Placing each brick one at a time is a little laborious at times - suggest a Lego Star Wars-esque building animation where the bricks and mortar fly into place.
And it would be nice if there was a more varied music selection for the soundtrack. I really like the background music, but it is getting old after a while.
I saw this person's comment, and thought I'd echo it. Restoring a castle would be really cool.
It is fun to collect the single bricks, I don't want to pick up a full stack at once like with the shovel (which is fine as well), but such a feature would be nice to have. :)
I know the devs didn´t model them themselves but most likely bought them from some asset collections on the internet. But was there nothing more time accurate for sale then peasants from the 15th century? ^^
