I like the concept, but if the state of the game at this point is the same as in the demo, then this game still has A LONG WAY TO GO before the release. Firstly, the movement mechanics need to be reworked. The mouse-controlled movement is tedious at best and irresponsive at worst. First of all, the framerate chugging at intense points needs to be fixed (Orb projectiles + the fire blast on contact = a lot of blasts). I had one point where, for some reason, it acted like I lagged out and everything froze for ~10 seconds before resuming? Even though I was playing singleplayer, very odd. I just played the demo. I did really enjoy my time with it, I didn't get too carried away, though. I have a few thoughts I'd like to point out.
