Cannot register for game using my .protonmail.com OR .gmail.com email addresses ....... states these email extensions are not valid. Please update your email extension list.

So I played quite awhile back and decided to check it out again after all the updates. However, I see that I now need to put in my email and password to log in, and the email that the game automatically remembered is absolutely not mine. So I decided to register, thinking maybe I had not before. But it tells me my email is not valid. What is the issue here??? I had to edit this post to reflect that I did not pay for the game, lol. Am not too far into the game yet, but trying to open doors or talking to people is a bit of a pain. Have to be exactly in the right spot for the prompt to come up, and just hitting space without the prompt does not work. Walking around is not as fluid as it could be. The map is a mini nightmare as I could not tell where I was in relation to anything, and it would be helpful if you could get a description when you mouse over each landmark. I am sure I will find more things, but so far it is looking very pro...
