Game keeps crashing when i go into game

Hi can anyone offer me some advice, my game keeps crashing when i go into a game. If I go on holiday it goes to the next day and next game fine however, when i set up team, tactics and click to go into the match it crashes with an option to send the details to the company that made the game. If anyone can offer me advice how to fix the problem as im not sure whats happened. Thanks

To update I just loaded an older version of the game which allowed me to play that game (vs QPR) I then went on to play the game after (vs WBA) and it crashes in the same game. I'm hoping someone has the answer really dont want to give up on this save.

1. Copy / Paste your save game into Desktop.
2. Delete Sports Interactive folder from Documents.
3. Delete Sports Interactive folder from %appdata%.
4. Verify Files on Steam.
5. Update Win OS and GPU Drivers.
6. Disable Anti-Virus.

I've had this happen several times when I'm managing both a club and a national team. If I inadvertantly go to watch a national team player on the same date my club is playing the game crashes. You can either skip watching your intl. player (which is basically meaningless anyway) or have your assistant manage the club game. Either works
