Atm this mode favors Assassin alot as they know which roles were picked but not who which narrows it down. In normal classic, a goose could be like 15 possible roles for the assassin to guess.
To add on, the entire list of chosen roles shows up on the info button so no need to memorize what roles got chosen
we'll consider this of course, but i think maybe giving i a try first might be prudent
again, It's something we'll consider, but the mode doesn't really favor assassin. If you choose Random, for the assassin to shoot you, they'd have to figure out your role, and not know that your role isn't even in the game. The assassin sees every role possible for every player.
e.g. Player 1 picks Assassin, Player 2 randoms into Technician, Player 3 randoms into Mechanic. In a meeting, Player 1 tries to shoot Player 2 in a meeting, and sees every non-duck role in the game available. If Player 2 doesn't at any point openly say that they are the technician, they aren't likely to be shot. Perhaps significantly less likely than in many cases of classic games where roles are guaranteed or very possible.
Granted, not every player is going to Random, but the Assassin is going to be in a minority of games, and players should be paying attention as to what duck they're playing against or might play against in this game mode
Joining, spectating and other glitches? :)
Or is the joining working as planned and due to draft system it will never be able to join during the game?
I decided to ask here, since I can't see anything about it on twitter.
It isn't a bug, and it was something we intended. The idea was that we were going to make this a more competitive game mode, and wouldn't have people be allowed to spectate mid game, as it was conducive to griefing and cheating.
We are going to change this though so that players can spectate very soon. Maybe even in minutes, because people are complaining about it.
also, it would be helpful if you could be more clear as to what you specifically mean by things like other glitches? We're a small team trying our best to give a free game to players, and it isn't very helpful if you refer to bugs in a general way. Feel free to open up a troubleshooting ticket to describe your problem on the discord:

Yesterday when we played in a room with 1 spectator, when there were 3 people remaining it did not start pelican countdown and in meetings it was counting spectator's vote, so there were 3 people but 4 votes (spectator was auto-skkipping).
Pelican countdown started with 2 people remaining.
Second glitch is about sound. Sometimes person joins game and you can hear them for like 1 second before they are autokicked, so it could be fixed be joining to the game.
Third glitch happened today when we were able to hear a ghost during meeting so he spoiled everyone's role :D.
I don't have anything of that recorded, because my laptop is currently being fixed and I play on spare one which is kinda potato.
it sounds like someone in the group you play with has a client thats bugging out and isnt actually properly in the game. as for banning you from the game, i dont know who you are in game nor do i know why you were banned from the discord
it's just a different game mode that might not be for you. you might be better off with classic. It plays differently, and we've given players more agency to their roles. The roles being revealed isn't damning because you don't know who is what role, and it reduces a lot of the potential knowledge overhead. I'm genuinely curious as to how many assassin games you're finding in draft mode, and even after getting it if those assassins are getting two shots off.
