idk if this is an issue of me only but i can't find any lobbies. which is odd because currently the game has 4k players playing

the number of players across steam and mobile platforms are always worldwide. they are distributed across different languages, private games, public games, and quick match games. If you're specifically referring to the quick match queue, that subdivides into your language and local geography, and if no one is joining your quick match game, there is no one in a nearby area playing in your language
