Game Won't Open

I've verified the files, and updated & restarted Steam, the game & my computer. I've uninstalled & reinstalled the game. I've disabled my firewall and still, the game won't open.

When I launch the game, a small pop-up says it's preparing to load the game. My friends will get a notification that I'm playing but the game never actually opens for me. The pop-up will show it's completely loaded, disappear and nothing will show.


Edit: The date is now 5/17/23. I have tried to once again disable my firewall and see if the game would run. It just now loaded the VC installation for the first time or at least, that's what the pop-up said. But after that the same error that I've explained here happens.

Thats the same error i got when opening Goose Goose Duck before yesterdays security patch. Try updating and see if that helps.
