Replayability?
It seems this game is very short, less than 20hrs, so does replaying it offer anything new or would be just doing exactly the same thing? Anything that makes each game unique, any procedural generation etc or exact same thing?

Just wondering if it’s game you play once, maybe twice and you’re done?

Functionally the same thing. The replayability that you can get is more trying to fish up the biggest catch of any given critter, since the largest one you catch is marked in your encyclopedia as a trophy.

I wish there was some kind of sandbox mode after finishing the story (which was great btw) but unfortunately everything is kinda linear. I regret purchasing at full price, but I probably would be ok at a discount just for the story and art alone.

just continue the game after finishing story: you will have all tasks done, but sandbox mode will just go on: you still can continue fishing.

Yeah, replayability is pretty limited.

I'm on my third playthrough - pretty much ignoring the story and trying different approaches to quickly max out the boat upgrades and visiting the Pale Reach early just to mix things up.

But this will probably be it for me (until a new DLC is released).

The replay is identical, except there is more than one ending and when I found the second one I was stunned. I had not caught on to the clues that were laid out before me about what was really going on.
