The game has such a great atmosphere
I haven;t really played any horror games but watched a ton of movies. To the point horror movies don't do much for me anymore. But idk if this is so good that it still unnerve/scares me or because it's a new medium.

The atmosphere so so much better then most movies. If those movies implemented the scares into their movie it think it would be much scarier. So with that thinking i do think this is so much better then most movies at getting to feel you uneasy.

I don't even remember horror movies adding scenes in the distance to make you feel uneasy it's always straight up in your face. It's either in full view or a figure in a window.

Either way great game cannot wait for release.

Welcome to the gaming industry, which makes more money than the movie industry.
But the game has many script errors and bugs.
I am so incredibly nervous about this game, because, on one hand, I like farming simulators, and I think it's an EXCELLENT way to force the player to be active, instead of hiding in a corner and wait for his sanity to recover, and also, it takes place in a setting that, as an European, I don't know at all, the American Gothic horror.
But at the same time, I fear that making money is going to be way too easy later on, since seeds are unlimited, there doesn't seem to be any season mechanism that could kill your crop, and I fear the the game is going to be "plant as many tomatoes as you can, buy everything, and then turn the game in a walking simulator".

There are many ways the devs could expand on the game to make farming more engaging, but at the same time, the presence of a rifle seem to hint at hunting later on, so maybe you'll grow stuff during spring/summer/autumn, and then spend your winter hunting?
I dunno, I'm very excited, but also very nervous because this game could be cool, but if done poorly, it can end up being boring and tedious.

I'm not the kind of person to "overreact" (or even react) to horror games (or movies); I'm pretty good at taking it all in stride (no flinching, jumping, exclaiming, etc.). Having said that, there were a couple moments in this demo where I froze and got full body chills -- it was so outside my normal experience! I think most horror (both TV/movies and games) is wielded like a blunt, heavy instrument -- no finesse -- but this was just so creepy. It actually managed to get under my skin, and I can't even tell you how surprised I am. I understand that this game has a ways to go with bug fixes, but I can't wait until it's done. So much promise!
