indeed the entire point of the game including what the game is currently being markted as is single player oreinted.
Look at GReen Hell. They had a great game then all the challenge of the game was destroyed when they added co-op.
Another shining example Medieval Dynasty they finally caved to the loud minority and added a co-op mode. To make this work required a whole new map and several of the games key elements removed on that map to make co-op work. Sadly that map is so large that you can't really effectively do a single player run on it.
