Level 2 Axe - Unable to purchase

Hi there!

I'm currently on Day 3 of the game, and for some really odd reason, it won't allow me to buy the axe. The current cost is $15 and even with the funds, it won't allow me to buy it.

What am I doing or not doing right here?

yeah, same experience, so day 3 can't be passed. But I do gotta say, pretty amazing so far though. When I get the chance I'm going to go hardcore on making money and see if it's just mispriced in the catalog, says $15, but game actually wants like $20, something like that.

Sorry for the issue! Did you load a save file before this happened? Is the Axe picture greyed out, or are you pushing the Buy Now button and it's just not working?

I had the same thing happen to me i just farmed a bit more to get past the 15 exact amount then i was able to buy it

Hello! Thanks for responding back to my post. I totally wasn't expecting anyone to respond to it, really.

The issue I was experiencing was that whenever I'd reach $15 to purchase the level 2 axe, the item would be still be completely grayed out. So, I figured I must've been missing another item for it to unlock the level 2 axe. I restarted the day, and ensured to save up a little extra funds to purchase it. Then when I was about to buy the rake, at $17, the item was no longer grayed out and I bought it at that point.

Man, was I panicking because I thought I wasn't doing things in order, lol. I was also racing against the clock because I wanted to ensure that I could go to bed with all completed items.
So glad I wasn't stuck with the issue for the rest of the day.

It's just a guess but you probably didn't have enough funds to buy the axe, game says you had $15 but you probably had $14.80 I was buying chickens at $5 and had this issue for this reason. I could be wrong but that's my guess.

Pick up the lvl 1 axe off the trailer first (If you haven't already that is.)
