Why this game triggers antivirus ?
It seems to trigger so many antivirus that work totally independent search engines.
I have problems with ESET since yesterday
If it was one antivirus OK but all, the problem is the game

add it to the exclusion list so it wont flag

exactly. Its either called exclusions or trusted programs. That will stop you AV software from blocking it.

If you really want to get to the truth of an issue you need to keep an open mind and don't exclude options which seem obvious to you from the getgo. Instead: include them and look into them.

In this case: what makes you so sure that your virus scanner got it right?
actually the av did its job well, it has no idea its a legit game you want to play.

Let me be clear: Your antivirus is NOT at fault here. In fact, if your antivirus stopped Forza, then it is good antivirus software. If it didn't, sorry to say.. but find another one. The problem at hand is that Forza Horizon 5 does shellcode injection. This usually is a HUGE security issue and that's why antivirus software always blocks it. You can google what this means, but in short - shellcode injection is the process of injecting code in other services/executables from another one. For example FH5 injecting code in the kernel. Or Valorant Vanguard injecting code in Valorant (same problem is with Valorant as well). With Valorant we know why - because of the kernel-level anticheat. But in FH5.. no idea why.
On my side there is no problems with norton and malwarebyte premium .

the fact that people still use antivirus software in 2021 is more amusing..
I was thinking the same damn thing lol. Built in antivirus is more than enough on windows

+1
Some AV software updates there security software with a trusted program list which is the name of the exe and its hash. This is basically updating your exclusion list. Some don't . Those are the ones that give you these kinds of issues.

Not really Defender would never catch most malware or Viruses its only about 70% effective. Its a bare Bones option.

It still detected a false positive which a majority of scanners did not, so I wouldn't exactly call this a good job where security is concerned.

I mean... with that reasoning you could also consider it a good thing when virus scanners thought to have detected crap in Windows' own DLL files and thus 'secured' them, effectively rendering the whole OS unusable because it would no longer start.

And if the "remedy" is to whitelist the entire folder then sorry to say... that's not a good thing at all because it would open up the gates for attackers. If I know that "scanner A" can't accept the fact that "game FH" isn't a bad thing then all I have to do is look for the game system folder and dump my crap in there. Success basically guaranteed.
