Well, it IS called "snow runner". There are other versions without snow. I think Mud Runner is one.
If he's not interested, can I get your phone number? Just wondering.
So 50/50 for cursing alone offline. Nice every day feel but AI sportscars getting in your way acting like they own the place.
I think for cursing alone in FP you might even be better off online weirdly enough.
If by "crap" you mean visually, you are wrong, ATS and ETS2 are wonderful games, not the latest engine out there, but the beauty isn't in reflections, in textures, etc. It's in the overall vibe, the scenery. And no one should compare truck simulators to Forza Horizon 5. Two different pleasures. The Truck Simulator series is all about being in the trucker role, just driving, enjoying it. And the whole mechanics, IA, and freedom given by the devs make it a wonderful series.
But the OP didn't say they wanted to do events like drifting and speed cameras etc, they said exclusively cruising around the open world. If you do that exclusively, then even in a D class car at the game's slowest speeds, you'll have seen the entire map within 5-6 hours. At which point you'd just be going over the same area you've already driven, and seeing the same sights you've already seen.
Unbelievable.. some people, you say that the other guy complains a lot, and then you post a paragraph showing how super fanboy you are, and you think your opinion is better?
This game is a complete mess, and everyone who says otherwise should just avoid posting because he is embarrasing himself lol. But keep it on.
Amazing, kids these days.. lol.
ATS and ETS are HORRIBLE games, with a completely obsolete engine that doesnt even use more than one core, with visual quality that honestly im amazed people even have the guts to play it, so much aliasing everywhere that is completely disgusting, shimmering all over the place in amounts that ive never seen in any other game, making the driving experience a complete idiocity, you cant even admire the landscape anymore, more than that, the devs refuse to actually work on the game engine to actually improve the game, and the only thing they do year after year is DLCs with lousy expansions that as of late are completely garbage, or idiotic and half-baked additions instead working on important things. They know people will buy every single dlc because thats the only thing keeping the games alive (that and mods, of course) and that people get excited for whatever new idiocity and useless feature they add to the game.
I never understood why the community of those games is so frikkin idiot and lost. And yes ive been playing ATS and ETS2 since 2014. But enough is enough.
And i am one of those that always say that if the devs could work on the game engine, to allow it to use more than one core (like every frikkin game) and if they implemented FULL DX11 support, they worked on the AA, etc.. they ACTUALLY improved the lighting (not the opposite like they did...) the game could look incredible. But until all that happens, ATS and ETS2 are probalby the most terribly looking sim games you can play.
The only reason i play them is because i use nvidia profile inspector to get decent AA and get rid of some shimmering. If not, i would not be able to play at all. I really like my eyes working in normal conditions.
But get it in your head, the only reason ATS and ETS2 are alive today is because of the modding community and because they have great support for wheel+pedal. Thats it. Dont even think that one of the reasons is the actual visual quality of the game.. for god's sake.
