The only people that should be using 7 as a primary OS now would be businesses that need it for certain programs, or people using 7 for certain games that just run bad on newer or just dont run at all

These people should learn about compatibility mode and virtual machines. I have yet to find a single game that does not run on Windows 10 or runs better on WIndows 7.

As far as i know there's no way to launch UWP applications on Win7

As far as i know there's no way to launch UWP application on Steam either, that's why this is a Win32 version

I love Windows 7 and its my Fav Windows version with XP right below it. That being said that OS is just so old at this point for modern AAA games/ software and hardware in general. If you want to play the latest and greatest of anything you need something around the latest.
If you love 7 so much and really don't want to let it go just have a secondary PC with it installed. Use windows 7 as your Main and have a Windows 10/11 PC for the stuff you can't get or run.
Its not the best option but for people that hold onto stuff, games or movies or whatever its just how it is with most things.

Also Windows 7 Doesn't have proper DX12 support, Just for some software. DX11 is getting phased out so even if the game is straight up Win 32 you can't run it still unless it uses something else like Vulkan or DX11 as an option.

It will likely not work on Win 7.

There are lots of ways to get windows 10 for free if not close to free.

And it is super easy to set up dual boot.

I still use windows 7 for it's end user security and privacy and for games that don't run on windows 10. And I use windows 10 pretty much just for the games that require it since I don't like forced updates and corporate inbuilt spyware on my main OS.

Look, I like Windows 7, that OS was a pretty good one, specially when it came after the terrible Vista.

But that OS is dated, you should consider upgrading to Windows 10, specially if you want to play this game.
