And the most lastly, you can just refund the game if you've played less than 2 hours. You can literally just buy it, see if you can run it properly and refund it if you're having any issues running it.
You don't even need to buy it if you're just testing it out. It's far cheaper to try it out on Game Pass for PC then it is on Steam.
I know Game Pass isn't everyone's cup of tea yada yada yada, but it is cheaper to try it there. Then you cancel Game Pass and buy it on Steam.
what fool would pay 60€ for Fifa in the first place?
I already commented on Game Pass and I'm all for it. However, subscription is not cheaper than refunding. Refunding the game on Steam is still cheaper than paying an euro for game pass not to mention that for me game pass is 13 euros and you can't cancel it as easily. Sometimes you're stuck with it untill the next month.
Here's what I said earlier:
"You're not paying for a demo. You're paying 1 euro to access hundreds and hundreds of games for a month. Game Pass is literally the best value for money in gaming industry atm and that's coming from a guy who owns over 1500 games on Steam alone + several consoles and physical copies of games. Game Pass has made me question why would I still purchase games.
Second, you can easily purchase game pass on another country store page and play the full library of games on your PC/console without a problem.
I live in Estonia, I use microsoft store Finland to purchase the game pass and play games trouble free on my PC but I guess that's too much of a trouble.. although it takes exactly the same amount of time if there was microsoft store Estonia. I would have to do the exact same amount of clicks which would take me almost 2 minutes. Insane, right?"
Yes Game Pass is brilliant. I've been subscribed to it for over 2 years now. I'll be playing Forza Horizon 5 on Game Pass because it's also far cheaper to get the Ultimate Edition on Game Pass - just pay for the Ultimate Addon pack. I know I'd lose access to the game if I stopped my Game Pass sub but I have no intention of doing that as I play a lot of other games on the service as well.
If it's the Steam version of FH4 you played, and you have a Xbox One controller, you should definetly give FH5 a try, you'll be surprised.
Will it?
Thanks
Except I don't care about all those games, I just want to know how FH5 runs on my system. So yes, I am paying for a demo, in the most literal sense... or I would be if Game Pass was actually available here.
Also if you own that many games on Steam you're not exactly what I would call a quality consumer.
No you can't, that exploit has been patched, MS Store purchases now require a payment method from that country, same as every other digital store. I could get it using some BRL gift cards but I'm not paying $10 on Gee2ay just to get a $1 demo, the physical effort alone isn't worth it.
Yes it is too much trouble, that's exactly right. Why do I have to put in the effort? I'm not the one trying to sell them the product.
Seriously, people who see Game Pass as a viable replacement for an actual demo are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dumb.
Flawless argument... well, except for these:
1. I played FH3 and liked it, then was disappointed by FH4 in many ways. Just because the sequel looks similar doesn't mean you know what it's like, let alone what it runs like. Pretending you do is just plain ignorant.
2. The gameplay doesn't show how the game with work on MY SYSTEM, especially since all the gameplays they've shown were on Xbox.
3. Just because your can easily get a full refund doesn't mean everybody can. Some banks charge a fee for the refund itself, others only refund the main debit without taxes, some delay the deposit by several weeks for security reasons... regardless, it's extremely careless to rely on refunds just to try out a product, this is why 5 year olds should refrain from making financial arguments, get your own credit card instead of borrowing mommy's then tell me how to spend my money.
